Default 4 or 6” lift

I have a 1998 DS. I picked up a set of 22” wheels for a really good price. I wanted 23” but for half the cost I couldn’t pass them
Up. Should I go with a 4” a arm lift instead of a 6” with 22” wheels? Thanks

go with 6" , eventually you will need new tires and can get 23's

You have to look at your ultimate goal, both looks wise and performance wise. As much easier as it is to find 23" tires (I'm assuming you meant tires and not wheels!) the max of a 4" lift is 22". Even with that in mind, I ordered the 4" lift for our Precedent. We like the look better, and we don't offroad it, so we don't need the clearance. Ultimate goal is 12" wheels with 22" tires, but I have a set of 14" wheels already with 23s (hoping those fit on the back) and some rubber bands for up front. Not the look I like, but it's what she likes, so be it.

Yes it was a set. 12” wheels with 22” tires. I was trying to find pics of a 4” lift with 22” tires. I found one with a 4” all sport. It looked really good to me. But a 6” might be better.

I was told this was 4” by the salesman (I was here to pick up a couple tires, got
To chatting) and it’s what convinced me to stick with it. My kid is also 3, so it’s a little easier for him to get in and out and a little lower CG.

Jakes 3” Spindle lift, with a 1” spacer block in the front added to get 4”. For off-road, hunting use it’s a better setup than an A-arm lift as I actually have more ground clearance with 22” tires than a 6” A-arm. The A-arm hangs low, and can cause you to high center imo. Cart might sit higher, but measure the actual clearance......

All depends of what you want out of the cart. I haven’t tried, but pretty sure I could fit 23s under mine if I wanted/needed.
