While it was warm last week I put some time in on the Hauler.

When I washed it off I noticed lots of dirt and mud dripping from under the floor mat. So I removed the mat and the steel floor and.....oh my.....so much dirt and sand under there!!!! Must have been 15 lbs of dirt! That's where the rust was forming too. So the dirt was keeping that area wet all the time.

The goal is to get the area clean, scrape off the crusty rust, then treat it with POR15.

I did end up ordering a set of black diamond plate rockers at 1/3 the cost of new Ezgo units. Those will be going on this week.

I also picked up a 4 terminal switch, light switch, and a G Boost Kevlar drive belt. Oh and last week I repacked the steering rack and noticed the drivers side grease cap was missing, so I picked up one of those from Country Cat.

One thing, Country Cat was amazingly quick with their shipping! Very impressed.

Also picked up a set ot tan seat covers to repair the current seats.

So far I have everything but the seat covers. Photos to come.

Slo I used the brown seat covers on my MPT because I figured it would hide dirt.. part number for the bottom was 71602G07. Looking for the back now

Good thinking. On this one the top is tan so I think I'll just get the tan to match that. I do like the saddle brown though, it's a nicer color than the blah tan. I wish this cart was going to be a little fancier so I could get the stitched covers with two colors. Those look really nice.

You really can’t tell but the one in my avatar has the brown seats with a tan top. Matches close enough for me

A few hours of elbow grease, Rustoleum gloss black, and POR15 does wonders for an old neglected cart. It's starting to look really good.

While the paint dries, time to work on the seats.

Replaced the belt with the GBoost. It looks beefy. It's the severe duty so it has the Kevlar. I looked it up, its made by Erlandson, same as CPP belt if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, it's got to be better than what was in there.

I'm debating on painting the body. There's really not much real estate here. Only the front is plastic. Thinking I'm going to go for it.

Now......WHAT COLOR?
