Default 350 With 295 Head

Man what a difference that makes. I finally got it close to running right, is all I need to do is get my jet reamed out bigger... its starving for fuel. Espically with the Stretch Plastics exhaust, that cart is amazing.

The next upgrade is upgrading the valve springs to a Briggs spring.

Oh yeah she got clocked @ 35mph with the 8:1 gear ratio... while starving for gas!!

Just golfed 18 holes with it today, and it ran great at low end. But at full throttle she started spitting like it was starving for gas. I took the plugs out and they were white as a ghost. So I called Tom at CPP and I am sending my jet in to get bigger.

Can you give a rundown on your 350/295 head build. Stock rods/pistons? special head gaskets? Ignition modifications and so on. I have a 350 with plenty of blow by, trying to prepare for a winter OH.

I know what you mean

I got mine to 30 mph W/ stock gears. I can't wait till I can get some high speed gears in it.

If you haven't orderes the spring you may want to consider the stainless valves and springs from fastfred. Without the spings the retainers pop out at about 5500rpm. The stock ezgo intake valves fail in stock motors. Those will get you to 7000 with the proper ignition. Stock ignitions have rev-limiters at about 4500 My valves and springs were 96. delivered. I think it's 16. per valve and 6 per spring and shipping. He has other stuff too!!!
