new project help
sold my bonfire ezgo (project gone bad) and bought another 87 marathon got it running but it starts taking off as soon as you try to start also if you try to push it, it is turning the motor over everything on the primary looks to be working properly and opening all the way back up could it be that someone has just put way to short of belt on there, i mean even a one inch shorter shouldnt be that tight should it? also does anyone have a low speed screw and spring for the carb they could sell me? some idiot (me) dropped mine and lost it this morning while cleaning the carb.

Re: new project help
To give you an idea of the belt length, you should be able to remove the belt by rolling it off the clutches by hand (if it's a short belt it will be a little more difficult but it still can be done) ...
