Making some headway on this cart. Painting is complete. We did the roof (inside and outside) in a white tinted bed liner which came out nice. We cut new floors as well and squirted those with standard black bed liner. That was the first time I ever used one of those bed liner guns. It worked great.

The motor is out of the cart and with my motor guy. I was afraid to power it as the wiring was pretty much bare in many places. It was made by a company called "Rochester Electric Motor Company" and I can find little information on this company. That said, the motor guy said he can probably get it restored. It won't be cheap but that's ok.

I had intended to fabricate my own seat for this thing (which I have done before with some decent success) but, in exploring some off-the-shelf options, I noticed that the needed seat dimensions matched the rear seat of a Jeep Wrangler pretty closely. I picked up a new Jeep seat and it fits pretty much perfectly.

What brand bed liner did you use?

The bed liner I used was something called "Raptor Liner" by Custom Coat. They are available on Amazon, Ebay, etc. Of course they have standard black but they also offer a tintable version that can be made into about 50 or so colors. They have kits that include a spray gun that draws right from the bottle. Essentially, you add tint and hardener to a bottle of liner and shake it up well. When done shaking, the gun attaches directly to bottle so there is no need to transfer the goop into a different container.

Of note, I used much more material than I expected. It took 2 liters for the roof and 4 liters for the floors as I did the inside of the trunk area as well. It wasn't the cheapest endeavor ($100 for the roof and $150 for the floors) but the results speak for themselves.

The Sports Rider is on the road and just about done. This ended up being a 24v cart as 6 batteries can't fit in the tray. That said, I put 4 8v in there so I am running 32 volts. It runs well. Just about 15 mph on a flat.

I still have some nickel and dime stuff to do, mainly the lights. Note that this had a windshield on it when I acquired it. I am not sure yet if I am going to replace it, though. It's kind of nice having with wind blowing in when driving. Especially when it's hot out. I'll post some pics of the motor / electrical areas when I get some more time.
