What size lithium for my 6 seat upgraded cart?
Hi Everyone - I have a 2019 Yamaha Concierge 6 passenger AC cart with 20" tires (Not lifted) and an upgraded Navitas 600amp controller. Looking to upgrade to lithium and trying to decide which batteries and how big to go...
Narrowed it down to Allied and Roypow....Looks like it makes sense to go with the Roypow P series but dont know if 105ah will be enough or if i should go to 160ah Likewise, if I went allied batteries i would probably need to do (4) at 120ah I drive on roads in Florida, no hills. I use the cart a lot and typically have 2 adults and 2 small children in the cart at all times. My cart will go 35 MPH with my Trojans but I rarely drive that fast as its a bit sketchy Let me know what you think expected range would be, etc. Thanks in advance for any help! |

Re: What size lithium for my 6 seat upgraded cart?
It sort of depends on how many miles you need to go on a charge. If your Trojans gave you adequate range, then the 105AH Lithium will probably be just fine. More is obviously better. One advantage of a higher AH pack is that it will also probably put out more max current as well. If it were me for a 6 passenger, I would go with 160AH to get the higher max current draw.
