You could loosen the bolts at the muffler to see if it runs better, but it's going to be loud. These engines only have a 6:1 compression ratio. They need all the help they can get.

I did notice that when someone took the oil pump off that they did not plug the intake. Can someone tell me if there are any other places on the motor that I need to check, because I feel like if that is just wide open its a huge problem, and if they left that one wide open then the chances of any of the other places being open for leaks is a possibility.
