1980 ezgo marathon lost spark
I recently lost fire on my 1980 marathon while backing up. Tried new a plug but still no fire. I still need to check the coil ohms to see if it's in range. From what I'm reading 1980 ignition system is different then 1981? Is there an ignitor on a 1980? Any help with this ignition system would be greatly appreciated

Are the points and condenser behind the fan? Is there a fly wheel on this type of system? And how much of a job is it to get to? Thanks

Tested the coil, 5.2 ohms on the positive and negative post, and 27k ohms between on post and center of plug wire. Would the 27k ohms mean the coil has failed?
