Gas Precedent any good?
I am looking for a gas cart to lift and modify, possibly Big Block (Clone not Vanguard) anyone done this to a precedent. I hate the way they look stock, but pretty cool lifted. How is the aftermarket parts and what engine come stock? Thanks in advance.

I'll take the lack of responses as a "pass on the precedent" !

My neighbor has the new precedent with a 3 inch jakes spindle lift, looks like 22" tires. It's a good lookin cart.

Re: Gas Precedent any good?
There are alot of Precedent owners here HD, give them some time to chime in!
I don't own one, but I like them, does that help? |

Sorry, I wasn't trying to offend. I was just looking for some tech advise on modifications. Looking at swapping in either a clone or a v-twin and didn't see any done yet.

Re: Gas Precedent any good?
Precedents are clockwise rotation, and most BB's are CCW,
you'll have to have the shifter in reverse to go forward, It's been done on alot of Club Cars, it all depends on if YOU don't mind that! As for the accessories, there are more, and more coming out every week, so there is quite a bit to chose from! and from what I've seen, most come with an FE350 engine. |
