speed question
i have a 2001 txt 36v series cart...it has a stock controller and motor-my question is if i have tires with a circumference of 58.4" and i am going down my hill at 39.8 mph -am i at a dangerous rpm? my hill is steep and long

18" tires 40 mph What is the cart gear ratio? And what is the speed on flat ground |

At 58.4" in circumference, you tires are about 18.6" tall and if you have stock gears (12.44:1) in the differential, your motor is spinning a bit over 8,950 RPM at 39.8 MPH.
It would probably be wise to install a blast shield around the motor and wear Kevlar underwear. |
