Default speed question

i have a 2001 txt 36v series cart...it has a stock controller and motor-my question is if i have tires with a circumference of 58.4" and i am going down my hill at 39.8 mph -am i at a dangerous rpm? my hill is steep and long

18" tires
40 mph
What is the cart gear ratio? And what is the speed on flat ground

At 58.4" in circumference, you tires are about 18.6" tall and if you have stock gears (12.44:1) in the differential, your motor is spinning a bit over 8,950 RPM at 39.8 MPH.

It would probably be wise to install a blast shield around the motor and wear Kevlar underwear.
