Default HD leaf spring kit for lift?

So eventually I will be putting a 4 or 6" lift on the precedent, however the wife says to add a rear seat first, so my ? is: If I get a hd leaf spring kit for the rear to support the added weight from rear seat users, will the leaf spring work with a 4 or 6" lift later? I don't want to have to purchase a different leaf set when. I lift it.

You should be fine. The lifts relocate the axle under the leaf instead of on top of it.

If you can go with the lift and springs first that will save quite a bit of work.

Lift means something other than stock wheels, and the other half isn't ready to spend that. So rear seat and leafs to support it and probably the longer roof for now, everything else stock till she caves in.

As mentioned if you have the heavy duty leaf springs already you can use them. If you are looking to buy, I would recommend looking at the dual action springs. Absolutely a great way to go. You maintain the softer ride when there is no load in the rear from passenger or cargo. It has a helper spring that takes handles the weight when you have a load. Seems to work pretty good.
