Default 48 Volt System

Can someone tell me what the advantages or disadvantages of 6 - 8 Volt batteries compared to 4 - 12 Volt batteries in an EZGO. Wondering why one over the other. Thanks.

Advantages: Range and lifespan.
Disadvantage: Weight.

There may be others of both.

Here is a comparison of the ones mentioned based on Trojan brand batteries.

I can get behind that analysis.

I agree for batteries and bullets, but not for carts.

More lead = more weight and more weight = less cart performance.

On the other hand, the typical swap is from T-1275 to T-875, which is only a 50 pound increase and probably wouldn't be very noticeable in a RXV.

Yes. Run time was shown on chart as Range.
