Default 36V to 48V on Stock Motor

Hello, I wanted to know if anyone really knows how long a stock 36v motor will last at 48 volts.

Well, all depends, what model ezgo? The series motor models are known to last a long time on 48.

Its a TXT PDS cart. Just trying to get an idea if I upgrade the batteries before the motor how long I will get out of it.

I have posted countless times this motor does not do well on 48 volts.
It can handle 42v and 42v will give improved performance and speed.
At 48v it pukes it's guts up every time you hit the gas. It almost a violent response.
On 48v it doesn't drive nice and it doesn't last long. How long? too many variables to give a responsible answer.

Ok makes sense. I will stick to my original plan of B2-motor, Charger, then new batteries.

Thank you,

I had my 36V on 48V and it did great. I was planning on running it til it died and then get a B2. I got impatient after a month. Installed a B2 and sold the stock motor
