Exactly!

The same guys that posted the info could not understand the danger to the rest of the community of what they were doing. I bet they understand now...

When the new "average" carts are all "new system", I will have plenty of "guarded tricks" to share that will no longer be economical "trade secrets" I use to make a living with the current system (and that's what I said all along). I will be back at the beginning like I was in 2012 when I quickly started realizing just what was at my fingertips. Hey, I gotta eat too...

The day a new shipment of carts comes in that I can't tweak, the veil is off for me.. then it's free reign for all previous models.

Simply put, the changes that have been made in the new model years, have handicapped anyone that is not highly familiar with these controllers new Operating Systems (internal software).

I had predicted that this would accur, and warned those that were posting certain proprietary information that could pose a threat to Curtis. I warned that Curtis would respond, and they did. So while the new changes made no difference to guys like me, it accomplished what Curtis had intended. It stopped the average joe with a hacked interface from being able to access the newer controllers at all.

Bob-

Thanks for the detailed response. I will reach out to the dealer and see what options we have.

Your right that it is inevitable that these things happen. While I am new to this world, there are a number of other things that have been ruined in this matter :).

Hope you had a good weekend,
Erik
