Default Question?

2013 EZGo Express S4 48 volt and all stock. If I was to switch F1 and F2 and also switch A1 and A2 would the cart run the same just in reverse of what direction I select? IE forward would be full speed reverse and reverse would be half speed forward.

No. Switch either the Fs or the As but not both, or you'll be where you are now.

But yes, forward would be 1/2 speed, unless you eliminate 1/2 speed.

Thanks for the reply. The rearend in this cart has 14.7 to 1 gears but they are reverse cut compared to the regular fleet cart rearend gears. So I was to change the gears in the rearend to the stock 12 to 1 everything would be backwards. Which would be the better option, switch the Fs or the As?

Doesn't matter, and you can change either end of the cables, the motor end, or controller/solenoid/FNR (if series) end.

Remember, when loosening cables on the motor to use two wrenches, to hold back on lower nut. Lotsa posts where folks didn't do this and repairs required minor surgery by experts.

Make sure the studs on the motor don't turn, like he said two wrenches
