Default Windshield for a 1987 club car, but...

I am wanting to get a windshield, but as you can see in the pics the frame piping i have is different from the square frames everyone else seems to have.

Does anyone know if I can get one of the regular fold up and down windows and it will work as they have done it, or am I stuck just getting the plastic ones?

Also this is an old pic, just posting it so you can see the frame, I dont have the recent ones.

I have a neighbor with that same early DS round-tube frame. His is an ‘81. I tried a brand new DS windshield on it but the dimensions were slightly off. The best bet is to probably locate a newer windshield frame, either the pre-2000 or the newer style.

Or, you can do what someone did with his cart, and just cut a piece of plexiglass to fit. It won’t fold though.

I found a local shop that wants to charge me $115 for one, but I find it hard to believe they can find it but no one else can?

Yeah I would make sure they know what they are talking about.
