Top Cross Brace
This thing is causing some serious squeaks. I’ve lined it with felt as much as possible. But so far as I can tell, it’s not actually providing any structural support.
Can this be removed? If so, how? It’s held on by rivet looking things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would say go ahead and remove it, but keep it in case you find the need to reinstall it. It may be there to keep the plastic roof from drooping in the middle. Simply drill out the rivets until the heads pop off to remove them.

Yeah I can’t find a picture of a roof with it on, so it’s coming off! The thing is so flimsy I can’t believe it’s doing anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
