I've been working on mine for about 5 years now.
With the lithium upgrade, can you use the same Alltrax controller? Just bought a 500 and I see lithium in my future.

What is your opinion on the realistic speed and/or torque increase I will see if I install JUST the XCT300amp alltrax controller?

I would go as far to say that the Alltrax controller is the prefered controller for Lithium.

Yep, as Walt said, and you will have all kinds of new adjustments you could not do with the Curtis.

Completely stock tires and good strong pack, you should get around ~24 to 25 mph. More with taller tires.

That's flat land speed but since you mentioned you live in a hilly area make that about 13 mph uphill speed. I'm speaking from experience. I live in SE TN.

Yes, and you will get a little more torque from the increased amperage (350 peak)

Yeah this will eventually get frustrating for me. Some of my hills are double black diamonds... i think I’m going to go with the 400amp Alltrax controller and have them program it to my stock motor. That way I can upgrade the motor in the future if I feel the need? Thoughts??

Also, can someone link me to a site sponsor or whoever you would recommend I buy the controller from? If not, I’ll just go for whoever on google.

Thanks!!

Stay away from Google or Amazon/eBay deals, if you do not know the seller, you could be getting cloned parts, old stock, etc.

Personally I would go with the XCT500 and set it up for your stock motor. It also includes the cooling fan. Then if down the road, you upgrade more, you use your laptop to tune up the controller. Look here for great options and costs. This is one of our CC Guru's. https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/u...ages-precedent
