DS front seat bottom support framing
I'm replacing the front seat cushions in our 17 year old DS.
The rear edge of the old seat bottom cushion is bowed, also the body panel it sits on. The front edge of the seat bottom has frame structure under the body, but the rear edge does not. It seems the support for the rear edge of the front seat cushion is only the internal plywood panel and the plastic body panel - no aluminum framing. Is this normal? I made a 2x2 frame around mine....stiffened it up pretty good.....
