Default Battery light doesn't work

Hi guys,

My battery idiot light never worked from day 1. I just installed a new one, but no luck I'm now going to reset the OBC (following the sticky).

Does anybody know what would cause it to not work

After I finish the reset, I'll report back my results.

I tried unplugging the charger during the charge as way to test it???

Thanks,
Steve

I followed the sticky on resetting the OBC. The reverse buzzer never sounded, like the sticky said it would???

Any Ideas?? I'm sure this must be a fairly common malfunction.

Again, everything works perfect, except the battery idiot light.

If it lights up, it is usually an indication of a problem of sorts . . . charger unplugged resulting in an incomplete charge below 90% . . . voltage drops below 48v with no load . . . batteries below 25% capacity . . . charger times out after 16 hours . . . etc . . . maybe you haven't had any of these conditions . . .

Thanks steve,
You are prolly right. I hate to do this, but to test it, I'm going to let the batts run down until the light comes on. I have a volt meter installed, if batts get too low and there is no warning light, I'll get it on the charger before it's too late.

I'll post back results,
Steve

Thanks scuba,
I saw that from another post you replied to

I just cant get that light to light up. When I have time, I'll trace the wire to the OBC and make sure it's good.
