Re: 2005 club car precedent dead
Motor most likely. Check for continuity with an ammeter. You should have continuity between A1 and A2..... and F1 and F2..... with no continuity between any post and the base of the motor or any A to F post.

Re: 2005 club car precedent dead
So your saying....check continuity by putting the volt meter on continuity and put the red lead on f1 & black lead on f2 on the motor? And the same for A1 & A2? I should have continuity or not? Sorry for me not understanding.

So your saying....check continuity by putting the volt meter on continuity and put the red lead on f1 & back lead on f2 on the motor? And the same for A1 & A2? I should have continuity or not? Sorry for me not understanding. Is this suppose to be done in tow or run?

Re: 2005 club car precedent dead
I checked for continuity put the black lead on B+ off the controller which is the big green cable and put the red cable off the volt meter and touched each cable off the motor and got continuity not changing the black lead off the green cable. Is this mean I got a bad motor?

Re: 2005 club car precedent dead
note the motor test should be done with all wires disconnected ..so you don't read information backfed from the controller
