Smile Dash Panel Removal-2005 Electric Precedent

Anybody have advice on removing the dash panel with the key switch in it? I have the screws out but something seems to be holding it around the key switch. Thanks for any help you can give.

hey richard, I'm going through the same headache now. I know there is a bolt under the inside dash part to get the key switch plastic piece off, but how did you go about getting to that bolt? The plastic piece that goes over the steering column doesn't seem to wanna come out.
any advice is appreciated
