Default Another deer lease cart build

Well, I ended up with another FREEEEEEEE golf cart from the lease owner. This is the one he wouldn't give me the first time, but he finally came around and realized he wasn't going to do anything to it, so he said I could have it.

I didn't snap any pictures of it before the tear-down, but its a standard 96 EzGo TXT. Its in relatively good shape, with a few body scratches, but no cracks. It does have some rust, but that is to be expected on a 20 year old electric vehicle. The batteries are shot, so I have no idea what else is wrong with it, but let the investigation begin.

Will keep you updated on progress.

I lied. I did have one picture, but it was pretty dark by the time I got it.

You can see the body panels are in good shape, but the frame needs some attention.

Step 1. strip, repair, and paint.

OBVIOUSLY you will be needing a new battery box......lol other than that, it looks like a great project.
