Default EZGO Electric Rear End Problems

Hello, I'm new at the golf cart repair and I have a cart which came in not moving. The motor sounds like it is working but no movement. I removed the motor and inspected the coupling. It appears to be not worn and the input shaft splines look good. I moved the cart back and forth and noticed the input shaft moving. I attached a pair of vice grips to the splines of the input shaft and moved shaft back and forth. It did not make the cart move and it felt like something was slipping or stripped. I have removed the input shaft and tried to move intermediate gear and gear moves but not cart. I suspect the intermediate, output or spiders. Are parts available if this is the case and is it worth fixing or just replacing? I have listed the model number below and would like to know if this is a direct drive.

EZGO Serial No. 909756 Manuf. Code K2595

Default Re: EZGO Electric Rear End Problems

Welcome to BGW

sounds like one or both brake hubs are striped, remove the hub and look at the splines in the hub and see if they are gone, this is common for ezgo carts, if that's the problem install new hubs and torque the nut to around 140#,, -- just reread this, sounds like you own a cart repair shop??
