Re: 36 or 48
I guess I'll just send my stock motor to Plum Quick and throw this 48volt motor in the scrap pile. That was an expensive screw up just to try to gain a little more torque! I wondered why my buddy just gave me that motor for free.

Re: 36 or 48
Or take it to a motor shop and see if they can test it first?

Re: 36 or 48
Build a trebuchet and use it too return the motor to your buddy.
Keeping in the spirit being golf related, here is an article suggesting your swing can be improved by observing the way a trebuchet works. http://www.rotaryswing.com/golf-less...h-your-drives/ Kidding aside, please do wanted/unwanted continuity tests on both motors. You should have continuity between A1 & A2 and between F1 & F2, but no continuity between The A and F winding, or from either to the case. I agree with Scotty that the motor should be rendered uninstallable. |

Re: 36 or 48
I talked to my buddy today and he asked how that motor was doing, I showed him my controller ! The good news is he had a controller , he upgraded to a 600 amp and gave me his old Dcx400. Life is good again, I'll be riding again in a minute! Thanks for your help guys
