SteeringWheel removal
OK, I was gonna put on my new steering wheel, and I was expecting a threaded stud with a dimple in it for my flywheel puller to get the old one off, and guess what? No dimple! Do I just whack it and hope for the best?

Re: SteeringWheel removal
Leave the nut on a couple threads then get a short piece of 4x4 wrapped in a towel. Give it 3 good wacks from behind wheel and it'll pop off.
Do not use an impact to put the nut back on or you will never get the wheel off again. Hand tighten only. Ask me how I know. |

Re: SteeringWheel removal
Before you re-assemble, dress the splines with anti-seize so you won't have a problem in the future.
