Re: Cart voltage determination without battery visual
Revolution, A sincere 'Thank you'. Two more 6 volts and a 48 DPI charger from ScottyB. My ticket is punched so now I can move on to to light kits, windshield and maybe a lift kit down the road.
I will sleep better tonight Goodnight |

UPDATE Re: Cart voltage determination without battery visual
Again, you guys are great and another thank you.
I purchased the additional 2 X 6 volt batteries and installed them in the back well, under the seat. Had to drill some/cut some and bolt in some battery boxes, tight fit but worked well. I wired them like the 8 X 6 volt diagram, I also found on this forum. I installed a in-line fuse for my future mistakes. WOW, this thing hauls (in cart world) Now that I know I didn't throw my money away buying this toy and THE BATTERY PRICE SHOCK/cables, etc.... I'll take it down and wash it - give it a good shine and post a couple of pictures so you guys can laugh at me It will look nice pulled behind my camper Thanks again HAVE A MEANINGFUL MEMORIAL DAY And GOD Bless our Retired, Current and fallen Troops and great Country. |

Re: Cart voltage determination without battery visual
Speaking of trailer - my cart (back seat foot rest) is about six inches to long - can't shut my ramp gate - so I back it a small incline I placed in the trailer so the foot rest will clear the top of the trailer's front rail. Works for now - either a new trailer or modify this one.

Re: Cart voltage determination without battery visual
Smart decision ... I would never buy 8 volt batts when there are six volt batts with longer amp/hr capacity and life span ...
Cheers! |

Re: Cart voltage determination without battery visual
Be careful where you spray water when you wash it. The electrics just don't like water.
