Yes it does, but the way the OBC is built with the harness on one side of it, it would be pretty difficult to route the cable any other way.

although batt was a bit low, he said the motor current should be way higher but want to talk to someone else.

I'm charging the bank now, I may run another test with fulll charge
That low current demand from the motor could be caused by a bad cable and/or connection on the motor circuit (high resistance).

Make sure all connections and cables on the FNR and motor look good and feel around for heat after riding the car for a while.

What Alltrax controller are You using?

the cable from the battery goes thru the front the way I did it

Alltrax sr 48 300

f/r is new, like 6 months

I'll check the cables on the motor again, but all are less than a year old

I have virtually the same setup that you are running on my 2012 Precedent. I do use 2 gage cables and the 400amp controller for torque only. The Bandit motor alone changed my speed from 16 mph to 28 mph before the controller was even installed. You must be starving that setup with low voltage somehow...

In my 2006, I have standard wheels, 4 ga wires and a bandit motor. I do not know what motor it replaced but it now really has a right good running speed. I suppose torque would be nice on steeper hills nut it really goes.

And I converted from the standard charging system. Battery maintenance seems to be no issue.

35 amps equals to 2HP. But the motor starting current should be in the hundreds of amps and should level off to 50a at cruising speed. I would suspect two things. Check the controller and make sure you don't have something shut down. I mean like limiting the current to 50amps. Attach a screen shot if you can. Second make sure all of your high current connections are tight. The biggest increase I ever got in performance was when I tightened the connections on the motor. You got to use 2 jam nuts on the bolt to keep it from turning and tighten the bottom nut.

Agree Alltrax said that too, Starting amps is about 60

Done with Alltrax on phone

Attach a screen shot if you can, I attached the monitor file

I did that again before the test, and double cleaned the terminals

P/Q Bandit Motor's are a fine tuned stock motor with a HP rate of 3.3hp.

So is that about 50 amps then?

Why do use 100-300 amp controllers then?
