Crossed wires while changing batteries

You will have to go through the entire solenoid circuit. The diode may be blown if you have one across the solenoid primary. Most likely your controller is toast - you put full negative pack voltage on it with your reversed wires. Did you see any magic smoke or hear any pops?

No smoke or anything out of the ordinary. It made a sound like a relay energizing.

I was hoping u would hear from Tahoe who is very familiar with this system before we start throwing parts at the problem.

The MCOR throttle signal device has a built in micro switch. This type of switch is typically the first thing to fail when polarity is reversed. Failure of these safety switches can safeguard the control if the system is designed properly as it is in the Ezgo TXT series. Also Aftermarket controllers may have reverse polarity protection.

You can test the MCOR micro-switch(ms) operation once you get a wire diagram to help ID the wires.

Check the voltage at the key switch. If there isn't any voltage you probably have a bad fuse. It should be 48v.

You DID check the fuses first, right?

Some IQ systems list a fuse 15a fuse but I don't know where it is located for this cart. Typically there is a small fuse for the OBC located at the charge receptacle which will stop cart operation.

While You did not apply the full pack voltage in reverse (that is not the pack negative connection), You did manage to apply -24v on pack positive by reversing that string of batteries in relation to the other 2.

That IQ plus system is more complicated, but I would first test the circuit breaker to make sure it has +48v on both sides.
