Identify a part for me please
I am having my brother wire up the lights for my 03 club car. Cart had everything working before but all the wires were cut from the previous owner. I have attached some pictures of someone could tell me what they are and what we need to know about them that would be great.

Re: Identify a part for me please
I believe that is some kind of voltage reducer? Does it have a part number? Was it wired to 2 of the carts batteries?

Re: Identify a part for me please
Strange, those connectors are Anderson SB50 connectors, commonly used with chargers...

The part in my hand is the voltage reducer? What's the part mounted? How do we hook up new wires to it

Re: Identify a part for me please
there is no information on the parts. no number or name. we don't want to hook them up wrong and fry it.

Re: Identify a part for me please
It may be a 16-12 volt reducer. But it looks like a filter composites.

Re: Identify a part for me please
I'm sorry I'm not going to be of much help here. The unit in your hand appears to be some sort of reducer, but without a schematic I can't tell you how to hook it up. As for the one bolted onto the cart, it looks like a reducer as well. It looks like a factory 48 to 12 reducer, but one thing that doesn't make sense is the wires that are coming out of it. A factory reducer would have two plugs, a 2 pin plug with a red and a black for 12 volt out, and a three pin plug with blue, yellow and white for 48V+ IN, 48V-, and a 48V+ turn on wire. It's probably an aftermarket reducer of some kind. Same deal as the other one, without a diagram or a schematic, it would just be a guessing game for me. I'm sorry.
