RXV. Pulled charging cord out of charger, need wiring help
I accidentally pulled the charging cord partially out of my power wise eq charger. I was backing up and cord was wrapped around the front tire. ? I have 2009 RXV and two of the wires pulled off the terminals inside charge. The white stayed but the green and black pulled off. Does the green go in the middle or the black one?

Re: RXV. Pulled charging cord out of charger, need wiring help
If that is the AC/Mains supply cord, green is ground and black is "hot," so if you can follow the traces from the pins, the green should trace fairly directly to a green/ground screwed to the metal case of the charger.

Nope, that's on the DC board, but I can't remember which goes where.

This is the cord that goes to cart not to wall power.

If you look closely, I think the "label" beneath those wires in your picture seems to have the color code on it: Green in the middle, black on the end - just the order you've got them in the picture. You might take a close look in person and verify that.

Re: RXV. Pulled charging cord out of charger, need wiring help
That seems, at first thought, scary especially in something likely to be opened by non-electricians, with the DC side colored in similar ways to AC wires, esp. in something with a AC/DC conversion taking place. It would seem black-red-green/green-yellow on the DC side and black-white-green on the 120 VAC side would be safer, but ??? I don't have code memorized, so I may be off-base. Either way, if green is colored as expected, it should be "ground"/"earth" AC or DC.

DC doesn't have an "earth" "ground". Think about the terms. "Earth", "Ground".
Automotive DC has a common "ground" which is negative, but it is in no way a real AC ground, as tires are not firmly connected to the earth. |

Re: RXV. Pulled charging cord out of charger, need wiring help
The green wire on the DC side is for data to/from charge port. Extra info- this wire is not supported in Dpi chargers, so green light in Port doesn't work.

I guess I should have looked a little closer inside the charger.
