Replacement TXT PDS Battery Meter
I'd like to replace the meter in my '04 TXT PDS cart with something more accurate. Something with a numerical readout would be great. Is there any direct replacement or will i need to move the location and cut a new hole in the dash? I wouldn't mind expanding the current hole to fit a larger one. I am also willing to give up the golf tee storage space to the right of the meter for a seamless install.
What's everyone running? This is what I currently have.  |

But it would look kind of strange turned on it's side. Maybe someone else knows, but I am unaware of anything digital that will mount in the factory spot. |

Anyone care to guide me through replacing my current battery meter from Scottyb? I thought it would be pretty basic, two wires in the old, two wires in the new. Not so much the case. There are 3 spade connectors on the old and only 2 wires on the new.

Are you planning to have the new meter on all of the time, or only with the key? I wired mine to be always on and I like being able to see the soc when just walking by the cart. The draw is minimal.

I was thinking just with the key, since that's how the current one is. I suppose it doesn't really matter since its an LED and like you said, draw is minimal.
