Default Ausco brakes install 2008 Ez-Go

I am attempting to install Ausco disc brakes onto a 2008 ez-go electric. The wheels I have are made by Rohx. The tires are Pro Tour 205/35 12. I measured the inside diameter of the wheels to 10.25. The problem I’m having is the calibers rub against the inside of the wheels. Do I simply have the wrong wheels?

I don't know what is actually causing your interference.....but I know that ScottyB of cartsunlimited.net sells those disc brake set-ups and he has a note on his page that there states "Inside wheels measurement must be 9.25 inches." and you say you have 10.25".... hmmmmm and I looked at multiple sites that state that a minimum of 10" wheels to be installed....and you have 12"....... so there has to be some install issue.

I'm guessing your wheel offset is incorrect. I'm thinking a 1" wheel spacer may just cure what your issue is.

I think Dave is correct. Your wheel tapers quickly to something less than the 9.25 minimum clearance. A spacer bay be the ticket.
