"New" 12v batts voltage
Have babied my 1 year old 12v US batteries (red tops.) After overnight charge, each battery reads 14.1v and the total pack reads 57.1! Have used two different volt meters. Is that normal?

Re: "New" 12v batts voltage
Is this while the charger was still plugged in? If so, when I had my 8V US Batteries my DPI would keep the float charge around 57-58V after charging.

Also change the batteries in the test meters. In my experience they read high with weak batteries. (in the meters)
14.1 x 4 = 56.4 seems to be a math issue also. Check battery in calculator |

Charger had been disconnected. I agree math doesn't add up , but I thought possibly all four together might create some sort of additional voltage. Test meters have new batteries! Regardless, I'm well pleased!
