I’m not is much worried about the drive system as I as I am frame, body, suspension.

Ok. My 97 48v club car ds. Well we will say it got wrecked. Never did get a chance to find out what was causing the jerking. It has bent, shock tower,shocks, front end is bent back a inch or two, steering joint is busted and charging port and F/R switch are broke and the V Glide housing is busted. Also the body panel front and rear. Now except for the jerking it ran good right before the accident. I have a chance to buy a 2002 club car ds for that does not run. It was under water. I know the drives are different. Can I take my motor, speed control and electrical parts off of the 97 and use on the 2002? Also is there anything I should upgrade while I'm doing all that?
