Got the charger this afternoon!!
I went ahead and did the mods as you instructed. No major issues, except I had forgot to unplug the negative wire and when i went to clean the wires a little bit with a wire brush, there were a few sparks .

It's all hooked up and charging. Got my fingers crossed.

Thanks for all your guidance, Nole and Scotty. I really appreciate your time and patience. You probably hear the same questions over and over and over. I would have lost my patience a long time ago but somehow, you guys answer all the questions with a smile and I know all the people you help feel the same way.

Batteries went through a full charge cycle.
Drives like a champ again.
51.5 volts on the pack, with individual batteries at 8.5V.

I guess the '15-year pro' at my golf club was not right. My batteries seem to be in good shape.

On my previous post, I meant to give a shoutout to Sergio, but instead, I came up with Scotty. My apologies, Sergio. You're Da Man!!

Disconnect the pack negative cable and leave it disconnected for more than 10 minutes to reset the OBC.

While the pack negative is disconnected, disconnect the yellow wire from the Solenoid coil (small tab or post) and run a new wire from that solenoid tab directly to pack negative.

Connect the pack negative wire back and charge the pack.

After the charging is finished, test drive and see if there are any changes.

Here is your wiring diagram:
Sergio, would this test also work for a DS IQ system (2003)? The coil wires are different colors on mine (light blue and blue/white), so that leaves me a bit in the dark. Which tab/post would the new wire from pack negative be connected to: the light blue one coming from the MCOR and key switch or the blue/white one coming from the speed controller?
