Default 96 ezgo electric

Please advise if my ezgo has a reed wire? If not do I ned to have one ?

Looks like somebody replaces wire and only have 2 wires on the charging ports.
It won't go in forward or reverse but back up beeper stays on?

Pleae help

These guys are extremely helpful and will get you through your problems but they like you to check the ‘sticky’s where they have basic diagnostic and troubleshooting info so you have an idea of what they’re talking about when they do respond... tons of info in those stickies... might as well start studying cuz you’re gonna need it��
But there ain’t nothing these guys can’t figure out... helps a lot when you know the parts, bits, and pieces and have some familiarity with your cart’s wiring diagram

The reed switch is a common problem that causes lots of mystery failures... but I don’t believe that cart has one... but that’s just a guess... I checked a schematic in the stickies that would be similar to yours
