Wheels/Tires
Is there any problem going from an 18x8.5-8 tire to a 20x8.00-8 tire?
If I understand it, it will be 2" taller and 1/2" narrowly. Cart is not lifted. |

Re: Wheels/Tires
The slight decrease in width probably won't be noticeable. The 2" increase in height will decrease the torque where rubber meets road by 10% while trying to increasing top speed by 11%. (Won't realize theoretical speed increase due to accompanying torque loss)
No lift is typically needed for 20" tall tires. |

Re: Wheels/Tires
2" larger tire will only get 1" lift. One inch of the larger tire diameter is on the ground, the other is in the wheel well.
