Exclamation Re: Bad Boy Buggie All 8 batteries Bone Dry..

Hi Nick, i'm with you. the reports have been really good on the Eagle Perf Charger. According to the customer this one never did work, he didn't call for warranty and simply cut the output plug off to use on the Lester, cause he thought the plug might be bad...go figure.

I got a note back from Lester Service this am. the timer board and or relay are probably bad on the Model 17935 MFG Date 09-97, causing the charger to stay ON after full charge.

Unfortunately parts for it are no longer available.
Still waiting on response from eagle to get the newer charger repaired/ RMA

NOTE i checked the battery voltage after 15 hrs at rest its 48.99 so according to the chart that handtools kindly sent along, the batteries are right about 60%. Will recharge them today and check again tomorrow?

thoughts? thanks all

Had the machine here about a week
Latest on Thursday evening again charged then ran buggy at near max to 1/2 charge about 30 mins. recharged them to 95% with Lester than checked at 95% with the digital Schumacher
checked after 12 hours overnight holding at 50.75Vdc
SG at 1.25

Got RMA back on the Dual/Pro charger its on it way back to Tennessee.

i went through about 6 charge discharge cycles in the week its been here.
I understand that a shop may not have the patience/bandwidth for such an exercise.

thanks again for your insight
