x3 12v batts run time?
I recently bought a 70痴 model 3 wheel ez go. The cart came with x3 12v marine battery痴. I might get an 45 min to hour of decent run time before cart looses power to a level that is no longer fun to drive. That being said if I replace battery痴 with new 12v marine battery痴 should I get a better run time or is that about what is expected. If do get x6 6v batteries what should I expect for run time?
I知 sure this question has been asked a million times sorry for that. I知 a gas motor person and this battery thing is new to me any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks |

Re: x3 12v batts run time?
Not a good idea! The only way to make 3 12 volt batteries work any at all, is if they are golf cart batteries. Even if your "marine battery" is deep cycle, it still doesn't have the amp hours of a 12 volt golf cart battery. There is a reason why golf carts were designed with all those batteries in them, and the reason is run time. It's kinda like trying to run a 18 wheeler on a 5 gallon fuel tank. It will work, but you will have to stop and fuel up often!
