Default Best way to tighten Tierod end

As the title states - looking for best way to do this? Currently the bolt is spinning with the nut, it is close to tight but not all the way yet.

Tie rods have a tapered end where they seat in spindle.
An impact gun will usually work
You can also use a dead blow hammer to tap tie rod into socket so it gets a (set into the taper) thus allowing you to tighten nut.

May need to tap, tighten, tap, tighten a few times till it stops spinning.

Thank you!

I hammered it down and the tie rod actually fits pretty well through the hole of the lift kit axle. I got on the underside and can see that the nut is all the way tightened but there is still a large gap. Not sure why that is though.

Looks like I'll need to get some washers to make it work.

If you mean you run out of threads on tie rod bolt, agree use a washer or two to get faint to seat.😊

Take it loose and clean it. You probably got some crap in the gap.
