Alltrax SR and bluetooth?

Just curious guys. Any solution on the horizon to allow a bluetooth option for the SR controllers?

Just curious is all.

Ordered the 48500, but weather delays so debating what else I want to order heh...

Well, Scotty replied it does not work.

So, need a solution for keeping the kids from driving crazy that does not require me to hook a laptop up.

So, the key lock and regen thing? Not sure what it is called...does it do this and work with the SR?

Since this is the new release for BT I didn't want to assume anything. I inquired on your behalf and Alltrax gave me this reply;

(Alltrax is ) going to have to do a board revision of the SR before the blue tooth will work with them, they don’t have a canbus connection and I believe (I could be wrong on this) it’s because the brain chip we use for SR’s doesn’t have the added functionality like the one we use in XCT’s.

Don't discount the dual mode operation that all SR controllers can be programmed for - access is as easy as flipping a switch or a key switch !

That works. I just am reading up on your site to make sure I order the right part, lockable...I have a son...lol....so I do not have to hook up the laptop all the time.

Will order a Veego and that once I figure which on is the best option for me.

Correct I installed this with a hidden switch for my wife.... She hates fast carts.

Ok, looks like only the xtc has any sort of lockable setup...or bluetooth.

So, I can install a dial and just lock IT up.

Did you read your email? You can program a second mode, call it kiddie mode. Then you can lock put the cart in kiddie mode with a switch or lock the cart in kiddie mode with a second key switch.

It is quite simple. Program the controller for the second mode using a laptop and the free software and user guide. The find a battery pack + power source and a switch. Connect the output side of the switch to controller J1 green. Each time power is applied to J1 green the cart will operate in the 2nd mode until the power is removed.

It could be second key switch (uncommon key).
