Charger/Disable wiring from Navitas Tac 2 to Lester II onboard charger
I am trying to verify the correct wiring for the Charger/Disable wire from the Navitas TAC 2 Controller into a Lester II onboard Charger.
The Cart is a 2007 EZGO TXT PDS electric. I have upgraded the cart to a 48 volt system, including a new OEM 48 volt wire harness. Pin 5 on the Controller Plug is an Orange/Red wire identified as Charger/Disable. There is a wire from this pin that is identified as going to the "battery charger". I have also installed a Summitt II onboard battery charger. Terminal 2 on the Summit II is a blue wire this is used for the Charger/Disable wire to the charger plug in for off-board chargers. I am eliminating the charger plug, so my question is do I just run the orange/red wire "Charger/Disaable" from Pin 5 on the controller directly to Terminal 2 (Blue Wire) on the Summit II Charger? Does the Navitas TAC 2 Controller support this function and wiring? |
