Wiring 3 way key, Scotty's DVM and Voltage Reducer

97 EZGO DCS, 36v.

Just to make sure this is the wiring how I see it, 3 way EZGO key switch with Scotty's DVM, yellow and white wire with yellow stripe originally went to stock 2- position key switch.

White wire with yellow stripe from controller to B on the key switch.

Run a Hot wire from the battery Pack + and the RED wire from the meter to I on the key switch.

Yellow from controller and a wire directly from the battery pack - to the black wire on the meter. Sound about right?? I assume the 12v reducer goes to B1 + and L -.

Wire the the Yellow and White/Yellow to the same terminals they were connected to on the original switch.

It the DVM a 2-wire or a 3-wire. If it is a 2-wire, it gets B+ from the keyswitch and B- from the battery pack.

The keyswitch terminals are not polarized, and the only voltage present at the terminals used for 12V accessories is +12V (Source and switched output)

The meter will turn off when F/R is in Neutral.

The 2-wire DVM I got from Scotty in Sep-2011 is connected directly to the battery pack and it has been on almost continuously for about 9.5 years without any noticeable degradation in visibility.
