Default needed wire diagram ezgo 1996 curtis 1205-117 36v

Hi Team, we seem to be in the right place.
I have looked in the stickies but can't seem to find a complete wire diagram for this ezgo.
We are trying to hook it all up. Bought it and told that it works except the batteries.
We intend to use with 3 deep cycles but using three car batteries just to test the engine.
A lot of wires are disconnected I just really don't want to blow anything up. I will attach loads of photos and hopfuly you can help out.
Cheers

The cart in your picture is a Medalist, so '95 or '96 solid state controller. 1205-117 ... this should be the diagram.

This one has the batteries split in two different places, but the one we have was all together. Will the principles still work?
Also there is an extra wire on the controller that is not listed here, I'll see if I can upload a pic of it

It's the Orange one at the opposite side to the 'three'

Everything about that cart says Medalist, Manufacturer code says it's a 1996, but that battery tray says TXT. Maybe when they cut the frame in two and stretched it they used two different carts. It's a36 volt series cart. This one may be closer to your need.

The first schematic posted was for a Marathon with a pot-box throttle. (Split battery pack).

The second was for a Medalist (metal body) or a TXT (plastic body) with an ITS throttle and a Curtis 1206 controller.

Here is a service manual for a 1996 5 passenger cart with a Curtis 1204/5 controller.

I have been over and over the document you uploaded and its been very useful.

I still need a bit of help as I don't know how the direction selector is orientated? and I can't figure out the micro switches at the bottom...

the photos from when it arrived are a bit different from the wire diagram

I have hooked up according to the photos I had before he pulled all the wires out. BUT they are not the same as the chart

I'm not sure what to do? I've attached pics as it is now. it seems the direction selector is upside down and back to front...? and also that the yellow cable from the solenoid should actually come from the controller? although that is bridged anyway with a blank lead....

We found a pic before we put colored tape on (not uploaded) which showed the brown/orange cable going into the left side micro switch of the direction selector and the blue went to the right side one. is the other end just empty?
I also have a black one that needs to go in there somewhere....

Really appreciate your help I don't want to blow up his cart. btw it has been remodeled into a go kart shape as this is what he wanted will share pics when its done

Thanks soo much for guidance, I'll be working with him again on Tuesday and should have new batteries on Wednesday so hope to have it right by then.
