Good to hear from you Roady, so a little warm is all they were not hot so that makes me feel a little better anyway. So you can see why I am a little nervous huh, what with the two controllers already.

Beefed up motor = more amps drawn
Beefed up controller = more amps fed

I say yes you need a beefed up F&R

Thanks Scotty thats kind of what I was afraid of, hey in you're opinion would the stock F&R switch work just for this weekend, we have the drag races to run around at and I don't think I would have time to get one in and replace it.

Oh yeah, jus keep a fire extinguosher handy

Kinda depends on what shape yours is in and what you do with the cart .....
Probably okay if you don't load it up real bad.... just keep your nose going if you smell hot electrical stuff, stop and check it out...

Allright Scotty here we go again, do I need to upgrade the soelenoid also? I was calling around here for a H/D switch and the guy said he would be more worried about the soelenoid, do you that is true?

So I ordered the heavy duty F&R switch and should be here on Wednsday afternoon, question is anyone got a round about idea of how long to replace it. I am leaving Thursday morning and only have a few hours Wed night, can I do it in that amount of time? Never done one but I am pretty mechanically inclined so I don't know if I am in for a pain in the *** or what, any thoughts?

F/R swap is straight forward about 45 minutes you should be done. Take one cable off at a time. I would buy all new contacts and just replace inless there is reason for the whole thing to be replaced like cracked or burnt up.
