Charging question
I have a 92' Marathon with approx 1yr old US Batts. I have not used it much the past few months but have charged it every 2-4weeks. I have noticed the last two times I charged it that it is only charging to 37.7 volts.
The charger appears to be working properly (by charger meter/needle) just as it always has. I replaced the battery in my meter just to make sure it wasn't the problem and I get the exact same reading. It is colder then usual in my garage (an average of 40 degrees) over the past few weeks. Two of my batteries read 6.27 and 4 of them read 6.29 after a full charge. Is this due to just colder temps, or do I have something going on with my charger and/or batts ? Maybe this is to be expected after a year on the batteries ? Thanks. Oh, and all batteries look just the same as the day I put them in(clean) and all water levels are good. |

Re: Charging question
You are showing nearly 90% charge that could be attributed to the low temperature.

Re: Charging question
that is what I was wanting to hear ! I kind of thought that may be the deal in the back of my mind but wanted to hear it from someone like you. I usually hit the 38.1 mark EVERYtime until the past 2 charges. Thanks scottyb, I can now relax again
