Default PDS Controller question.

The Curtis PMC controller in my 2008 TXT PDS is labeled 73326-G07.
I'm pretty sure it is a 300A controller, but would like to find more info about it.
Does any one know what the Curtis P# is for it?

I think the first part of it is "1206MX", but there are 4 more numbers after the MX.

Thanks,
John

Default Re: PDS Controller question.

Curtis 36-volt 300 amp PDS (1206MX-1115) regen solid state speed controller. ITS throttle input.
For E-Z-GO electric 2000.5 and up PDS carts.
This is an OEM controller and not listed on the Curtis site.
What else would you like to know about your controller?

Default Re: PDS Controller question.

For the most part, my questions are to satisfy my curiosity more than anything else.

1. I believe the output to the Armature is PWM in the 15KHz range. What is the output to the Field?

2. Which is reversed for reverse, Field or Armature?

3. Shouldn't there be heatsink compound between controller and heatsink? Mine doesn't appear to have any.

4. Controller has both Throttle (ITS) and Motor Speed inputs. Is it a closed loop servo, or is motor speed data used only for stall cutoff and top speed limiting?

5. Not really a controller question, but has anyone tapped into the Motor Speed input for a Tachometer or Speedometer?
