Well I got the brakes installed... Pretty straight forward.

I'll post some pictures in case anyone else wants to get an idea of how they install.


Parts laid out

Step 1 - Removal of the stock brakes.

Remove the castle nut

Remove the drum

Remove the springs

Remove the brake shoes

Down to the last four bolts.

Now for the disc brake install...



Removal of the stock spring, per the directions.

Spring removed by using a pair of needle nose pliers.

Installation of the hub on axle shaft.

Install of the caliper mounting bracket. On the second side I did this before the hub which made it easier.

Temporarily install the disc with two nuts.

Install the caliper per the directions (my pictures got deleted..)

For Lifted carts two cable extensions are installed.


I did this before connecting the brake cable conduit to the cable bracket on the caliper itself. This is easier to do first.

After adjusting the tension a few times this is what can be done....

Yep. Me too . I've had 2 sets for close to a year I got from Andy, and I am just now getting ready to install both. Thanks for the great pictures.
