Default whats your average speed

Just trying to figure out where my cart stands speedwise.

I have a 98 txt series 36v buggie with stock controller but it has a high speed stock motor in it. I also have new batteries and 20x10 10 wheels. I have gps top speed at 22mph but that was with just me and wind to my back on flat street. I would say average speed is 19 to 20mph.

What type ez go with your mods are your average / top end speeds you are getting??

P.S. it does take a quarter of a block to get to that speed
I also have a 3 inch all sports lift

I have a 99 TXT with a new Alltrax 4844, 2 guage wires, HD switch cam in it that averages I'd say 14 mph. It only has a stock motor, wheels and the batteries will need replacing soon, hopefully not too soon since I need to save up for the rest of the 48 volt conversion. I'd say you are above average by a bit with yours.

Great topic, surprised this isn't a sticky.

95 Medalist 36v

I'm now at 20 with a D&D high speed 8.6hp with fan - All Trax 400 amp - HD FNR - 21" knobbies - 6 gauge (plan to change out at some point soon)

Figure if I get street tires - I'm generally on pavement - and 4 or 2 gauge I may see 22. But I'm happy with 20 - it's just right for me and my use..

Interested to see what it would do on 48v - someone else was posting he had a 48v with a bandit and was at 22 I think.

Stock 2007 EZGO PDS with chip and aftermarket tires/rims. 18 to19.

Stock 2005 EZGO series cart, no mods 12 to13.

Single rider on both carts, good batteries, windshield down, tires pumped up.

1996 EZGO 295 Robin gas, 24 inch tires, no governor. 28 to 30 while turning way too many RPMs..........Been running it that way for 5 years and why it hasn't blown up yet I couldn't tell ya.
